Our mission is to support seriously injured rugby players, their families and clubs across regional NSW with practical, timely assistance when it matters most.

Who can apply
You may be eligible to apply for support if you are:

A rugby player who has sustained a serious injury

A family member supporting an injured player
-
A rugby club applying on behalf of a player
-
A club seeking funding or injury-related infrastructure
Types of support
Funding is provided in two tiers; urgent and/or general. It can be used in a range of ways including:

Injury and recovery support:

Emergency financial assistance, rehabilitation, therapy or medical equipment

Practical support:
-
Travel or accommodation costs for treatment, day-to-day support during recovery

Club and community support:
-
Facility upgrades to improve accessibility, programs that support injured players returning to the club

Hardship assistance:
-
Financial support during periods of significant hardship
How to apply
Applying is simple and can be done in a few simples steps:

Assessment process
All applications are assessed within outlined timeframes for support tiers, using a consistent process:

Application is received and delegated to the Emus Foundation Funding Subcommittee.

Application is assessed by the Funding Subcommittee against established criteria.

If required, additional information will be requested of the applicant.

Applicants will be notified of outcome in a timely fashion following assessment and decision.
